Currently, we are involved in the following mission’s initiatives outside of Grovetown:
Charm City Church: Charm City Church (CCC) is a church in west Baltimore, Maryland that has an extensive inner-city children’s outreach called Metro Kidz. Through Metro Kidz CCC has the opportunity to teach children who grow up in very difficult circumstances that Jesus loves them and through his grace they have hope in Him. Through Metro Kidz and the other ministries the people of CCC are able to minister to the parents of these children as well as their neighbors who often are trapped in lifestyles of drug and alcohol abuse, prostitution and other harmful lifestyles.
New Covenant Church: New Covenant Church (NCC) is a new church plant in Surfside Beach, SC. New Covenant launched on October 24, 2010 with very humble beginnings like New Passion. New Covenant’s leaders are passionately pursuing people with the life changing gospel of Jesus in the Surfside Beach area.
P.E.A.C.E. Japan: New Passion is currently partnering with local churches in Japan through the P.E.A.C.E. plan hosted by Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. Their P.E.A.C.E. teams have hundreds of church leaders organized in Japan who are offering relief to those devistated by the recent Earthquakes, Tsunami and Nuclear fallout. 100% of all donations go directly to local churches who are offering aid in Japan. Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee: Land of a Thousand Hills (LOTH) is New Passion’s oldest missions initiative. From the beginning we desired to provide premium, delicious coffee in our cafe. For a few months we fulfilled that goal by offering free Starbuck’s coffee in our cafe, that was until we connected with LOTH. Instead of investing in a corporate coffee company, we decided to allow our coffee investment to do good for other people. When we buy LOTH’s coffee and our guest drink it through our free guest bags or through the free cups of coffee that we serve in our cafe, together we directly help the people of Rwanda by providing them a fair working wage, by helping bring reconciliation to former warring tribes who fought each other in the ’94 genocides, today they work side by side growing coffee. Our efforts also go to help bring justice, micro-loans and other life benefits to these people. All of these efforts open the door for the gospel to be shared and lives to be changed for eternity. The life saving efforts do not have to end at New Passion, you can also help change the lives of these Rwandan villages by drinking coffee and doing good at home.
