New Passion Church Easter Recap

Yesterday was a pretty exciting day at New Passion. It was Easter, the day our Savior Jesus, rose from the dead to redeem us from our sins; that alone was all we needed to celebrate. Today, we continue to celebrate as we saw the largest attendance in New Passion’s history! There were children everywhere. It’s remarkable how many 3-4 year old’s our church already has with our regular people and then you add guests to that equation and they were busting at the seams. Having a lot of people in service is always a great thing, but we have even better news to celebrate, 5 people placed their faith in Jesus during the service, while a couple more people asked for information concerning salvation and baptism.

That’s what Easter is all about, Jesus offering hope and new life to a bunch of hopeless and helpless people. Next week we continue the celebration as we will be baptizing anyone believer who would like to follow Jesus in obedience by making a public profession of their faith in him. If you would like to be baptized you can register online.

Easter: Two Things to Pray For

Easter will be here in three days. Here are a couple of things to be praying for…

  1. The 5 families that you committed to invite to New Passion for Easter. If you haven’t invited them yet, do it now. Pray that they will be open to your invite and that they will accept.
  2. For the families who will receive or have received a door hanger invite to our Easter service. Pray that God would use the door hangers as a tool to inform people where we are at and what they can expect at New Passion.

Let’s not just pray for these guests, let’s be prepared to welcome, serve and love them on Sunday, as we do every week! We are asking anyone who can arrive at 9:30 a.m. this Sunday to do so to help in areas like Guest Services.

Thank you…you are the greatest church and people in the world!

Easter at New Passion Church

At New Passion, we want Easter to be a time of celebration and enjoyment for families, but we also want to make a difference in other people’s lives. On Easter we celebrate the day Jesus rose from the dead to give hope to the world, and we believe that Jesus called those who trust in him to care for those who are in distress….

If you don’t already attend church, chances are, you are going to visit a church this Easter. We ask that you visit with a purpose. ONE visit this Easter is TWO opportunities to change lives in Rwanda. All visitors receive a free guest bag of coffee from Land of a Thousand Hills, we also serve their premium, delicious coffee for free in our cafe. Through these guest bags and through your drinking a cup, or two of coffee at our cafe, together we directly impact lives in Rwanda. We’ve listed more specific details of how you do good by simply drinking free coffee on our Global Missions page under Land of a Thousand Hills.

For the Kids this Easter

While parents and other adults are enjoying great music by an amazing band and listening to a life changing message; the children will have a blast with exciting music, fun games and a Bible lesson on their age level all led by caring adults in one of our PassionKidz Environments. Following a shortened service for kids, children (Pre-K and older) will go on a HUGE Easter egg hunt, earn candy prizes and jump their energy out on our inflatable bounce houses.

Where and When?

We hope to see you this Easter in the gym at Patriot’s Park beginning at 10 a.m.
