Help Save the Center

We need your help saving the New Passion Community Center! Our annual lease on the Community Center is due for renewal on March 1, 2016. Because we are a small church, our finances are limited and we cannot afford to renew the lease without your help. In 2015, we took a risk by paying for the entire year’s lease up front, out of our savings. We are a portable church that leases a high school for our Sunday services and needed a place of our own to use for our weekly programs and services outside of Sunday. In the last year we’ve used the Community Center for our weekly student ministry service, our monthly women’s Bible study, our First Step Lunch (to help new guests get plugged in with our church), our Summer Children’s Ministry event, as well as other church activities and events as we had need.

In our students ministry alone, in 2015 we saw some of the following wins:

  • Doubled our weekly attendance
  • 12 students trusted Jesus for salvation
  • Launched male and female small groups for Bible study discussions

To continue using the Community Center for New Passion’s ministry needs, we need to raise $12,500 to renew the lease before March 1, 2016. We can easily raise the needed finances if 250 people would give a financial gift of $50, above their normal giving, or as a one time gift as a friend of New Passion. If we lose the use of the center, we lose the ability to offer many of the programs and services that have greatly benefited our church in the last year. Our student ministry is now too large to meet in a home, so we will still have to find an alternate location to rent or lease.

Your $50 gift to help save the center will directly impact students in Grovetown, GA, and the surrounding CSRA. We are trusting God to help us grow even more in 2016 than we did last year. We are praying that even more students trust Jesus for salvation and grow in their faith; you can help make that possible! Your $50 gift also helps benefit children and adults by providing a physical location for New Passion to use for our ministry services, events, and other meetings that help meet their spiritual needs.

If you are willing to help us save the center, click the button below to go to our electronic giving page. Checks can be mailed to PO Box 1582, Evans, GA 30809. Thank you for helping us provide life change to those who God has given us influence with!
